Qinglong Houdabang

Qinglong Houdabang is classified into the traditional dance category of the intangible cultural heritage, and entered “The First Provincial-level Intangible Cultural Heritage List” which was published by the People’s Government of Hebei Province on July 6th 2006. On January 21st 2009, it entered “The First City-level Intangible Cultural Heritage Lis’’, which was published by the People’s Government of Qinghuangdao City.
Qinglong Houdabang has a history of 300 years, which is a type of folk dance that is made and performed by Qinglong Manchus with rich and profound connotation.
Houdabang can be divided into several performing forms, which include stage performance, street performance of yangko, artistic performance on square, etc. The performers present the unique style of this folk dance with passion and liveliness in different performing forms, which make it very popular and well-loved by the broad masses.
