In 1958, “Ding Ji Rattan Art” processing plant has been approved for registration by the relevant department of our state. Since the establishment of the plant, Rattan furniture products such as cupboards, cabinets, counters, screens, shelves, chairs, tables and beds have always been popular. The processing technique of “Ding Ji Rattan Art” has been inherited for nearly 70 years and it has been passed down for five generations.
In 2016, Ding Xinxia, the fourth-generation inheritor of rattan art, organized a small teaching class of rattan art at Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural Creation Expo, which attracted many children and tourists, and received extensive attention from the media and the people.
