On July 22, in the marine hot spring scenic spot of Yudao Island, Qinhuangdao, tourists from all over the country were refreshing in the “ice spring” water world, enjoying the pleasure brought by the coolness of the magical “ice spring” in hot summer. It is reported that there were nearly 10,000 tourists from Beijing, Tangshan, Tianjin, Liaoning and other places on that day, almost as many as that of the Spring Festival, injecting vitality into the “four seasons tourism” of Qinhuangdao.
Bustling Nights in Qinhuangdao
Followed by the official operation of “Xunxian Cruise Ship”(Cruise Ship for Journey to Fairyland) began on July 15, the night route was also opened on July 21. With the sunset and twinkle stars, you can not only watch the performance on the ship, but also enjoy the sight of city lights and coastal scenery from a different perspective on the sea. “‘Xunxian’ night cruise is the first night sea sightseeing route in Qinhuangdao. I hope it would enrich Qinhuangdao tourism market and expand new status of all-for-one and all-season tourism,” Zheng Ming, section chief of the Market Development Section of Haigang District Cultural and Tourism Committee, said to the reporter.
Creating An “International Tourism City of the First-class”
On July 24, 39 foreign tourists from Germany, France, Sweden and Poland came to Qinhuangdao by self-driving RVs and started a three-day tour. When asked why chose Qinhuangdao as a stop, many foreign tourists said, “I have heard of it before in my hometown. Many friends of mine, after having been here, said it is very good, and it’s been a worthwhile trip.”
Today, Qinhuangdao is increasingly gaining popularity overseas. The channel “Visit Qinhuangdao” is also being opened successively in many well-known overseas social media, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Within half a year of its opening, 68 pictures and texts have been sent to readers through Facebook and Twitter, which have received a lot of attention and likes from overseas netizens.
