On the morning of September 28, 2018 International Seminar on College-Enterprise Cooperation in Tourism was held in Qinhuangdao. Experts and scholars who attended the Seminar discussed in details on the issues such as “demand for tourism talent, training model of tourism talent” etc., in the ways of theme reports, study exchanges, and college-enterprise docking. Lian Ruyan, the vice mayor, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
On behalf of the Municipal Government, Lian Ruyan greeted guests attending this seminar. After a brief introduction to the basic market situation in Qinhuangdao, Lian Ruyan said that guided by Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Qinhuangdao is deeply implementing the “four-city strategy” to build a first-class international tourism city, which needs vast tourist talents with international view. Vocational education experts and scholars home and abroad and elites from tourism-related industries came here to study the training of international tourism talents under the new situation, and mechanism, modes, methods and strategies of international college-enterprise cooperation in tourism, which will provide new ideas, new methods and new paths for modern vocational education innovation and development. She hopes that Hebei Institute of International Business and Economics would take this opportunity to enhance the standardization, scientific and international development of the college, and hopes that the guests would take this opportunity to give some valuable suggestions for the economic and social development, especially for the development of tourism of Qinhuangdao.
The seminar was sponsored by Hebei Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of Vocational Education, and organized by Hebei Institute of International Business and Economics, including four sessions: the keynote address, the speech and discussion in the sub-conference, the college-enterprise docking, and visiting the pilot of the teacher and apprentice system. Guests from China, France, Japan and other countries delivered wonderful speeches on the theme of the seminar such as “World Hotel Industry Development Trends”, “International Tourism Talent Demand”, “Japan Tourism Talents Training”.
