“Come on guys, let’s put up the tents.” At 8 am on January 26, 13 members of the Blue Sky Rescue Team set up 8 tents at the exit of Qinhuangdao Railway Station under the organization of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, as the temporary quarantine place to monitor the temperature of passengers.
“The tents can ensure the normal use of detecting equipment and the accuracy of the detection data, which can be used as the temporary quarantine place for the fever patients waiting for the ambulance in the abnormal conditions,” said the staff of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau. At the same time, the Emergency Plan for Coronavirus Prevention and Control of Emergency Management System was issued by Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, to strengthen joint prevention and control with the support of the masses, improve the countermeasures, strengthen the publicity, and enhance self-protection of the people.
“As a social emergency rescue force with nearly one hundred team members, we are ready to serve the people at any time,” said Li Fuyuan, captain of the Blue Sky Rescue Team. “This is for our safety. We can understand and will support them, and we feel safe and secure,” said Qin Peng, a passenger who had just left the station.
The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau reminded the citizens that we should take good health protection, wash hands frequently, keep our home clean and air circulating, reduce activities at the public places with no ventilation and crowded people. Wear masks if you have to go. Do not touch wild or farm animals without protection.
On the same day, the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau allocated 400 sets of emergency medical protective clothing to the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal Traditional Chinese Hospital, the Municipal Orthopaedic Hospital, the Municipal Disease Control Center and Lulong County.
