A truck loaded with the love from more than 300,000 teachers and students slowly drove away from Yanshan University, and embarked on a journey of more than 1,400 kilometers to Wuhan, Huanggang, and Xiaogan.
Seeing the severe epidemic situation in Hubei, Yanshan University Alumni Association, together with Hubei Alumni Association, Shenzhen Alumni Association, and Beijing Alumni Association, launched donation themed with “Love from Yanshan, undertake our responsibility” . It was forwarded 915 times in the WeChat moments in 5 days, 1867 alumni teachers and students participated and donated medical supplies worth of more than 2 million yuan, which shows the powerful response of Yanshan University to the epidemic. The donated equipments were purchased from Contec Medical Co., Ltd., including 60 patient monitors, 20 lung function meters, 200 pulse oximeters, and 200 mesh atomizers (2,000 atomizing masks are included), which will be sent to Wuhan CR & WISCO General Hospital, the No. 2 People’s Hospital of Wuxue in Huanggang City, the No. 1 People’s Hospital of Xiantao City, and Xiaogan Central Hospital, to alleviate the shortage of medical equipment in hospitals in the epidemic areas, and help to win the battle against epidemic prevention and control.

The virus is merciless, but Yanshan University shows love. Li Shufu alumni enterprise Geely Group and Li Shufu Public Welfare Foundation set up a special fund of RMB 200 million for the NCP prevention and control, and launched the initiative of “making concerted efforts to fight the epidemic world wide, Geely is taking actions”, to mobilize global resources and support the prevention and control in hard-hit areas.
