Qinhuangdao (The Great Wall Network/reporter Zu Di, Correspondent Wang Guanzhe)--The Bohai Sea entered the fishing off season from May 1. In order to maintain the order of fishing management, crack down on the illegal fishing, and protect the Bohai Sea fishery resources, Qinhuangdao Coast Guard implemented the “most stringent regulations on fishing off season” by carrying out joint law enforcement, strengthening information screening, promoting situation research and judgment, and publicizing laws and rules.
Qinhuangdao Coast Guard conducted a joint patrol with Qinhuangdao Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, weaving a dense network of inspection to achieve seamless connection inside and outside of the prohibited fishing line.
Coast guards strengthened information early warning combined with the activity of “information screening and jurisdiction inspecting” , checking the ships in port, making targeted deployment to handle the illegal ships in the key waters, docks, berths, and important time nodes, promoting policies and laws in the jurisdiction to persuade fishermen from violating the regulations on the fishing off season.
