Qinhuangdao (The Great Wall Network/reporter Zu Di, Correspondent Qian Banglei)--The dual-power grinding machine developed by the Bridge Company of CRSBG was successfully applied to the stiffeners of the Netherlands Bridge after a month of research.
The Netherlands Bridge is under production now, which requires high quality and technology. All welded parts in the steel structure such as stiffened T-shaped ribs, plate ribs, and separators need to be smoothed within about 25mm, and no attachments such as oxide scales or paints are allowed in case of affecting the quality of penetration welding.
In order to improve the processing quality of the semi-finished products before bridge welding in the Netherlands, increase labor efficiency, reduce labor intensity and grinding costs, the artisan studio of the bridge company made all-out efforts to research on the effect of grinding before welding, and developed a semi-auto dual-power grinder with their accumulated experience and technical advantages after repeated examinations. The grinding machine adopts two three-phase asynchronous motors with a power of 4 kW / h, a voltage of 380V, and a rotational speed of 1400 rpm as the power source, a 40 # gauze impeller as the grinding material to connect the motor shaft through a long shaft sleeve, and makes high-speed grinding with automatic walking mechanism.
