Dear visitors,
In order to resume the normal production and living order in an orderly manner, and to meet the public cultural service needs of the people, Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum will reopen its museum exhibition hall and the ruins area from July 10 in accordance with the relevant requirements of the proper authority, here is the details:
I. Opening hours
The museum is closed on Monday, and open from 9:00 to 16:00 from Tuesday to Sunday(It is subject to change on official holidays).

Ⅲ. Instructions for admission
1. The real-name online booking system is currently implemented. Only individual bookings are accepted, and group and telephone appointments are not accepted. You can make reservation on the WeChat official account of the Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum.
2. Please scan the QR code of the epidemic prevention and control reporting system to log in before entering the museum, or present your ID card (health code), and take temperature, those who get abnormal body temperature(≥37.3°) are not allowed to admit.
3. Please wear masks and keep a distance no less than 1 meter from each other.
4. Only 150 visitors are admitted in the museum at the same time. Please call the museum in advance to adjust your visiting time in case any inconvenience.
IV. Prevention and control measures
1. Museum disinfection. Special workers are arranged to disinfect the public service areas, equipment and facilities in the morning, at noon and in the evening every day, and regularly disinfect key areas and common equipment and facilities.
2. Self-protection. The public service areas such as the entrance service desk(reception) and toilets are equipped with antibacterial cleaning products and hand sanitizer for the visitors.
3. Ventilation. The museum will be regularly ventilated.

The Power of Industry--An Exhibition of Modern Industry in Qinhuangdao
With its unique geographical location, Qinhuangdao has laid the foundation for the development of various industries. The first standard-gauge railway, the first bridge-building factory in China, the only port in the north China opened by the Chinese government, the glass manufacturing industry have been born here. “Exhibition of Cultural Relics of the Qinhuangdao Great Wall——the Town of Strategic Importance in Ming and Qing Dynasties”
As the only world cultural heritage in our city, the Great Wall is not only an important resource for Qinhuangdao’s tourism development, but also an important business card for her foreign exchange and publicity. The “Exhibition of Cultural Relics of the Qinhuangdao Great Wall——the Town of Strategic Importance in Ming and Qing Dynasties”, hosted by the Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Film and Television, Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Relics Museum, the Municipal Cultural Relics Management Office, and Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass, will be held at Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum on July 10 to October 10, 2020, which fully displays the history and culture of the Great Wall and the achievements of the protection and utilization of the Great Wall in Qinhuangdao built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, through the Great Wall resources integrating pictures and texts.
The exhibition curatorial team carefully selected more than one hundred pieces of cultural relics and pictures for the exhibition, respectively showing the scenery, history, and folk tales of the Ming Great Wall in Qinhuangdao. The exhibition consists of three parts: “Exquisiteness and Ingenuity,” “Magnificent Pass, Smoke and Fire on the Great Wall”, and “Mountains and Sea Created by Heaven, Bulwark of the Capital”.
