Qinhuangdao, July 11 (The Great Wall Network/reporter Zu Di, correspondent Wang Le)-- At 9:00 am on July 11, with banners flying, the “MSA 04307” patrol boat of Qinhuangdao Maritime Safety Administration carried out a theme patrol at the key waters of the port area, and organized the ships in the port to hang banners and blow whistles for 1 minute, to celebrate the 16th China Maritime Day.
In order to further promote water safety knowledge and maritime and nautical culture, Qinhuangdao Maritime Safety Administration organized a series of publicity activities.
The MSA and the Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station of Qinhuangdao launched a publicity activity with the theme of “Working together to maintain the smooth international logistics” on China Maritime Day, listening to the crew’s stories, distributing brochures, and explaining the laws and regulations of entry-exit management and marine environmental protection, aiming to enhance their safety production awareness, and promote nautical culture. Maritime volunteers promoted water safety knowledge, and instructed how to use the emergency equipment such as life vests and lifebuoys at the tourist ship terminals and sea-related tourist attractions, aiming to enhance people’s awareness of navigation, ocean and maritime rights, and improve the social influence and appeal of the activities on China Maritime Day.
In the next step, Qinhuangdao Maritime Safety Administration will give full play to its professional advantages in maritime affairs, to promote the nautical culture and water safety knowledge to the people through online courses such as maritime safety and government services, so as to continuously enhance the society’s understanding of ocean and maritime affairs, and create a good atmosphere for scientific development of marine resources, protection of the marine ecological environment, marine rights and interests, and building of a strong marine power.
