Qinhuangdao (The Great Wall Network/reporter Zu Di, correspondent Ma Yong, Liu Jian)--From 18:00 to 24:00 on July 28, the heavy rain and strong thunderstorm fell in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao areas within the Qinhuangdao railway depot of China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd., and this is the first extreme weather since the main flood season. According to Tangshan rainfall monitoring station, the hourly rainfall volume reached 58 mm, and the flood control emergency response was immediately launched, to block and check 3 main lines and 7 station dedicated lines. The speed of 2 main lines was limited, and workers were sent to check the speed-limited areas.
In addition to checking the facilities in accordance with the patrol value of the rainfall, the depot also sent workers to monitor and guard 40 locations with hidden flood risks, including the Dingzhuang Tunnel on the Jinshan Railway and the No. 6 Bridge on the Qiluan Railway, to ensure the safety of transportation during the flood season.
