“This access control system is safe and convenient! Now, only those who live in the community can enter through video scanning, and outsiders are not allowed to enter unless the owner permits. It is really nice.” said Ms. Hu.
In recent years, Funing District has focused on exploring new models of property management in old communities, actively introducing professional property management companies, to take over 54 old communities in the district, achieving full coverage of basic property services, creating a full-scale star-rated property service, promoting the modernization of community governance capabilities, normalizing the epidemic prevention and control, improving the intelligent level of community property management, and improving smart management in old communities to benefit people’s livelihood.
Since 2020, more than 2.9 million yuan has been invested in the construction of license plate recognition systems, face recognition systems, remote call systems and entrance and exit video surveillance systems in 38 old and closed communities in the urban area. The network dedicated lines transmit the access control signals, personnel and vehicle entry and exit records, and video monitoring data to centralized smart management center, which assists the opening and closing of the gates, with the remote call system communicating with visitors in both directions. At the same time, the smart management system is used to collect and analyze various data in the community, and store video surveillance data.

The smart management has realized unattended operation in old communities, the owners and their vehicles can enter and leave the community autonomously, and the outsiders can enter through the remote call to register relevant information, so that the strict control of the visit records of the outsiders has been achieved, while doing a good job in the epidemic prevention and control. The collection, analysis, utilization and early warning of information of houses, personnel, and vehicles in old communities have been realized, to ensure the traceability of abnormal conditions at the entrance and exit of the communities.
At present, the Smart Management Center has been established, covering all relevant information of 38 communities. It has been put into operation after debugging in the Family Residence of the Water Affairs Bureau, the Family Residence of the Metal Building Materials Company, and the Haiyang Huayuan Community, and the Smart Management Centers are under construction or debugging in other communities.
