Since the beginning of 2020, DSIC SHGSIC(Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.) has upgraded the diesel engines of more than 100 equipments, to reduce production costs, improve work efficiency, and enhance power and environmental protection.
Qinhuangdao Xianhui Power Equipment Co., Ltd. was responsible for this mission, establishing special team to conduct survey, data collection , and IQD design for feasible solutions.

At present, all the equipments are in place for the upgrading. More than 20 sets of QSF2.8 have been completed, and the power products of forklifts, tractors, and loaders are about to be replaced with the electronically controlled engines of China III vehicle emission standards.

According to Zhu Tao, director of Qinhuangdao Xianhui Power Equipment Co., Ltd., the replacement of equipment has greatly improved fuel efficiency. The fuel consumption has been reduced from 3.25L/H to 2.14L/H, saving more than 100,000 liters of fuel each year based on the annual operation of 100,000 hours of overhead working vehicles. The maintenance costs are greatly reduced, and the equipment attendance greatly improved. In the next step, intelligent C-link will be launched soon, which will optimize the management of equipment, personnel and data through intelligent means.
Despite of the impact of the COVID-19, Qinhuangdao Xianhui Power Equipment Co., Ltd. appointed special personnel to monitor and guarantee the whole process, and finished the mission as scheduled with good service, which was praised by the SHGSIC.
