Recently, the 2nd batch of national demonstration zones for all-for-one tourism was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Shanhaiguan District of Qinhuangdao City was listed.

Since the beginning of this year, the Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Film and Television of Qinhuangdao has conscientiously implemented the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on coordinating the epidemic prevention and control and the economic and social development, speeding up the comprehensive development of the tourism based on the advantages of Qinhuangdao as an excellent tourist city, and the creation of the national demonstration zone for all-for-one tourism has achieved good results.
1. Doing a good job in top-level designing. We have taken the lead in tourism and cultural resource census, and established a big data platform of city-wide cultural and tourism resources, which was selected as a typical case of the national resource census by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The “All-for-one Tourism Development Plan (2020-2025)” was formulated, and the all-for-one tourism planning system was further improved.
2. Highlighting the all-for-one and all-season tourism. With the goal of leading the market, we have cultivated four-season tourism products, including fashionable sports tourism products such as mountain climbing, hiking and cycling at Bingtangyu and Longyungu scenic spots in spring; coastal leisure and entertainment tourism products at Ledao, Sand Sculpture Ocean Park, and Biluo Tower scenic spots in summer; rural experience holiday tourism products at Wanghangou and Jielingkou scenic spots in autumn; and snow and ice sports and hot spring tourism products at Laojunding, Tiannv Town, and Fisher Island scenic spots in winter.
3. Upgrading elements of gourmet food, accommodation, scenic spots, and shopping. The 2020 tourism gourmet food business card selection was held, and a group of stores, foods, and souvenirs were selected; more than 30 boutique homestays including Shanhaiguan Ancient Town homestay and Funing Jielingkou homestay have been built; Longyungu Scenic Spot has been approved as the national 3A-level scenic spot, and there are 35 A-level scenic spots in Qinhuangdao now; the “Cultural Creation and Tourism Commodity Creative Design Competition” was held, and more than 150 featured boutique tourism products were launched, many of which won national and provincial awards.
