Firefighters are rescuing the little girl whose hand got stuck.
At 21:02 on the evening of February 18, a couple brought a 3-year-old girl to the fire rescue station on Lianfeng Road, Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City for help. The little girl’s left forefinger was stuck in a torch, and it was already red and swollen. If it is not taken out in time, the blood circulation of the finger will be blocked and the finger will continue to swell, which may cause more damage.
The firefighters cut the torch with a ring cutter while comforting the little girl. They found that there was a heavy iron ring inside the torch that cannot be cut with toothless saw or power-cutting plier. The little girl’s mood was very unstable, and the rescue work became difficult.
In order not to cause secondary damage to the little girl’s finger, they decided to use the angle grinder. They cleaned her finger, fixed the torch, and placed a metal shim between the torch and the finger, and cut the iron ring off with the angle grinder.
It took 10 minutes to release the little girl’s finger.
The little girl’s finger was stuck in the torch out of curiosity. Parents should keep an eye on the children and protect them from dangerous objects.
