Female workers are learning tie-dye.
On the afternoon of March 8, female workers came to the Time Imprint Traditional Culture Center, learning to make tie-dye and feeling the charm of Chinese folk art.
Tie-dyeing craftsmanship has a long history of 2000 years. It is a traditional Chinese folk dyeing process and is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. The tie-dyeing process is composed of tying and dyeing. The fabric or finished clothing is tied, folded, pressed, kneaded, or sewed before dyeing, and amazing patterns appear. The creative tie-dyeing craftsmanship is unique.

Under the guidance of the teacher, female workers turned the white cotton and linen cloth into elegant tie-dyeing works after one-hour process of soaking, tying, painting, dyeing, and drying. “Today we have learned the tie-dyeing and felt the unique charm of traditional Chinese crafts!” said female employee An Linghui.
