“We teenagers swear here to unswervingly listen to the party, follow the party, and pass forward the red gene and the revolutionary spirits from generation to generation!...” The second primary school of Qinhuangdao Development Zone launched rituals to mourn for the martyrs in front of the Monument of Revolutionary Heroes in Tanghe Park on April 2. More than 480 representatives of teachers and students reviewed the glorious history of the Communist Party of China, and mourned the revolutionary martyrs.
They sang revolutionary songs and presented baskets of flowers to the Monument of Revolutionary Heroes. The teacher representatives preached the CPC history on her founding, PRC liberation and prosperity and strength during one century. In front of the monument, the student representative issued an initiative: learn the history of Communist Party of China from young age, always follow the party, and be a successor to socialism. They expressed the faith in the CPC through the poem recitation “The Praise of the Motherland”.
“It is the party that brings us happy life. As primary school students, we must study hard and make contributions to the motherland when we grow up.” said Liang Chengyang, a fifth-grade student in the second primary school of Qinhuangdao Development Zone.
Xu Tingting, a teacher at the Second Primary School of Qinhuangdao Development Zone, said, “The ritual helps students understand the CPC history, cherish the happy life, always remember the contributions of the heroes, and always follow the lead of the Party.”
