The Qinhuangdao Detachment of the Coastal Defense Management Corps of the Provincial Public Security Department promoted national security knowledge in wharves, communities, rural areas, schools and enterprises, to greet the 6th National Security Education Day, aiming to further enhance people’s awareness of national security, and build a civil defense line to maintain national security.
The coast guard policemen promoted laws and regulations such as the “National Security Law” “Anti-Terrorism Law” “Counter Spy Act” and “State Secrets Law” through handing out pamphlets, explaining legal knowledge, and answering questions of the masses, focusing on the definition of national security, violations of national security laws, how to maintain national security, and the consequences of endangering national security. They urged the masses to raise awareness of national security, take practical actions to maintain national security, and coordinate with public security agencies to fight the crimes that undermine national security and social stability.
They have handed out more than 600 pamphlets, set 11 exhibition boards, and handled 200 consultations.
