Flocks of tourists come to Jiuxian on weekends and holidays, and the booming rural tourism boosts the mulberry industry in Jiuxian Village.
The festival will last until June 30 and is open to tourists free of charge.

Over past years, the Funing District Party Committee and the District Government have made a strategic decision to comprehensively develop the Tu’er Mountain area in line with the general requirements of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China for implementing the rural revitalization strategy, so as to further promote the construction of a “Strong Coastal Area, Happy Licheng”.
The Tu'er Mountain area will strengthen the rural characteristic industries such as hawthorn and mulberry by improving infrastructure and village renovation, creating a pastoral complex where the primary, secondary and tertiary industries are integrated, and the growth of farmers’ income is synchronized with the interaction of urban and rural development.
