On the afternoon of June 28, the red classic songs were performed by the college and middle school students of Qinhuangdao at Yanshan University, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
With the theme of “forever following the party, marching forward on a new journey”, the performance was undertaken by Yanshan University, Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao, Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology, Hebei Construction Material Vocational and Technical College, Qinhuangdao Vocational and Technical College, and Qinhuangdao No. 3 Middle School. With the revolution, opening-up and rejuvenation as the main line, they performed 35 songs of 4 chapters, showing the course of struggle of the Chinese Communist Party and the great achievements made by Chinese people under CPC leadership.
The performance activity ended in chorus “Towards Rejuvenation”, and the whole performance was distinctive and wonderful, and the audience and the cast and crew sang the song in chorus “There would be no New China without the Communist Party of China.”
The performance was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee, co-organized by the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Film and Television, and undertaken by the Municipal Radio and Television Station and Yanshan University.
Member of the Standing Committee of the Qinhuangdao Municipal Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, the leaders from the Municipal Government, the CPPCC, the Qinhuangdao Military Sub-region, outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding grassroots party organization leaders, models of various industries, officers and soldiers from troops stationed in Qinhuangdao, heads of universities and municipal high schools, and representatives of teachers and students participated in the activity.
