The tourists flock in Qinhuangdao in the peak tourist season, policemen from the Qinhuangdao Detachment of the Coastal Defense Management Corps of the Hebei Provincial Public Security Bureau promoted knowledge against drowning and jellyfish sting in the scenic spots, in the way of giving lectures and presentations, handing out leaflets, and setting up warning signs “Danger, Deep Water”, to further improve the safety awareness and emergency rescue capabilities of the tourists.

At the same time, they guided the scenic spots to establish jellyfish sting treatment sites and store drugs to ensure that injured tourists can be treated in a timely manner.
They also invited more than 50 people including medical staff of the Third Hospital of Qinhuangdao City, sub-district officials, students, and cruise company employees to promote knowledge against drowning and jellyfish sting on the “Prince” cruise ship.
They have launched 10 activities, erected more than 30 warning signs, and handed out over 1,000 leaflets, to guarantee tourists’ safety.
