Source: Qinhuangdao Tour Strategy
In addition to the fire-red maple leaves and golden-yellow ginkgo leaves in late autumn and early winter, there is another pink and romantic scenery in Qinhuangdao. Where is it and what is it?
The Roundabout Park
The pink grass is located in the north of New Century Park (the roundabout), with pink and purple spikes and green leaves, as far as red clouds. Delicate texture, bright color and the gorgeous autumn bring out the best in each other.
The Pink Grass(Pandelius Davidifolia)
This pink grass is called Pandelius davidifolia, with a plant height of 30-90 cm and a width of 60-90 cm. The top is arched and cloud-like pink floss and its green leaves are slender. The flowering is from September to November with spikes cloud-shaped. There are 3,000 square meters of pink grass in New Century Park and this is the first attempt to plant it in Qinhuangdao.
Strategy for taking pictures
The pink grass is relatively low, which is not very suitable for full-length photos, you may try bold face or half-length photos at low angles with the grass in front of you as a foreground shot.
You may look down or look at the distance, close your eyes and smile with your hands cupping your face.
Backlighting is a better choice for the romantic atmosphere of the pink cloudy grass.
