Da'an Town (Tianjin and Hebei Boundary) to Ping'ancheng Section of Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway was officially opened to traffic! The whole expressway from the East Sixth Ring Road of Beijing to Chengde-Tangshan Expressway has been joined up to connect expressway of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.
The full length is 38.4 km
The full length of the project route is 38.4 kilometers with the estimated budget of 4.947 billion yuan. It adopts the standard construction of fully enclosed and full interchange two-way six-lane expressway. The width of the roadbed is 34.5 meters and the design speed is 120 kilometers.
These roads are connected:
Da'an Town (Tianjin and Hebei Boundary) to Ping'ancheng Section of Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway, also known as the Jingqin Phase II Project, starts from the west of Shihe Village, Da'an Town, Yutian County, Tangshan City, to the east of Ping'ancheng, Zunhua County, Tangshan City, connecting Tianjin section of Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway in the west, and Ping’ancheng to Zunhua Section of Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway and Qingdongling(Eastern Tombs of the Qing dynasty) Expressway in the east.
3 toll stations
There are 3 toll stations in the whole section: the Tianjin and Hebei main line toll station, the Yutian Chengxi(the West of Yutian County) toll station and the Yutian Chengbei(the North of Yutian County) toll station; there is one service area: the Yutian-Da’an service area; there is a parking area: Guojiatun parking area, but the service area and parking area are not opened yet.
Zunhua and Yutian have been included in the “One-hour Commuting Transport” of Beijing and Tianjin
The project is the key to the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei traffic integration. Its completion will join up the East Sixth Ring Road of Beijing to Chengde-Tangshan Expressway, about 127 kilometers in total, effectively connecting the expressway of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei, alleviating the traffic jam of Beijing-Harbin Expressway and 102 National Highway, making the transportation from the east of Hebei, especially Zunhua and Yutian, to Beijing and Tianjin more convenient, so that Zunhua and Yutian have been in the "one-hour commuting transport" of Beijing and Tianjin.
