Recently, the 6th Forum on China People’s Livelihood Development was held in the Lecture Hall of People's Daily. The forum was organized by People’s Livelihood Weekly Magazine of People's Daily, and issued “2018 Report on China People’s Livelihood Development” and “2018 Top 100 Prefecture-level Cities in China on Livelihood Development”.
3 cities in Hebei Province are listed, including Qinhuangdao, Tangshan and Langfang. Qinhuangdao ranked the 25th, Tangshan the 54th and Langfang the 82nd.
Qinhuangdao City has been ranking for three consecutive years on this list. In 2016, Qinhuangdao ranked the 68th, the 56th in 2017, and this year, it has reached the 25th.
Although the ranking does not mean everything, it shows from several dimensions that Qinhuangdao has made considerable progress in various aspects of the development of people's livelihood over the past two years. The life happiness index of Qinhuangdao people has been increasing year by year, and their life gets better and better.
Qinhuangdao is located to the northeast of Hebei Province, with Bohai Sea in the south, Yanshan Mountain in the north, Liaoning Province in the east, and Beijing and Tianjin in the west. Connecting two economic zones of North China and Northeast China, it is the core of Bohai Economic Circle. It is 280 kilometers away from Beijing and 220 kilometers away from Tianjin, Qinhuangdao is a national historical and cultural city and the only zero-distance coastal city in Hebei Province known as “The Great Wall & Coastal Park” and “Back Yard Garden of Beijing and Tianjin”. It is a bright pearl of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle.
