Visitors in the exhibition
The “Jizhou famous Kiln” ancient ceramics exhibition was held in the Glass Museum of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. A total of 106 cultural relics from the different periods and different types of representative porcelain in the Jizhou kiln were exhibited. The purpose of this exhibition is to take you into the mysterious Jizhou kiln and enjoy the different porcelain charm.
It is understood that there is a wide variety of the products of Jizhou kiln, such as daily-use porcelain, display porcelain, Buddhism and Taoism vessels, plastic porcelain and so on. Glazed porcelain includes black glazed and under-glazed white painting and so on, which changed the historical pattern of the single glazed porcelain of “White in the North, Black in the South”. The under-glazed white painting laid a foundation for the emergence of blue and white porcelain. The kiln produced hare’s fur glaze, sprinkle color, hawksbill turtle, partridge spot, tiger skin patterns and so on. Decorative patterns include paper cutting decals, wood leaf decals, sculpture decals and so on.
