On the 5th, National Immigration Administration issued a reminder that the current type of pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao will expire on September 13, 2019.
According to the shortest period of validity of three-month endorsement, it is inconvenient to apply for the new endorsement with the old pass.
National Immigration Administration suggests that holders with travel needs can apply for electronic card pass in advance, and the old ones can be used during the validity period.
It is reported that the card type electronic pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao was put into use in September 2014. Since April 1 this year, National Immigration Administration launched “National General Management” policy, and it is more convenient for mainland residents to apply for electronic card pass and group travel endorsements. Mainland residents can apply at any immigration management window across the country, or apply online through the official app, and service website of National Immigration Administration. The card-type certificate can be achieved for group travel endorsement to Hong Kong and Macao in the self-service machine.
Special reminder: those who apply for the card type electronic pass with the old one in validity must submit the original copy! The police on duty will cut the corner of the old one and return it to you.
Fare for the new pass:
Exit-Entry Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao: 80 yuan
Single group travel endorsement: 15 yuan
Double group travel endorsement: 30 yuan
(Postal charges are not included)
Validity of the new pass:
The validity period of the Exit-Entry Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao is divided into two types: 5 years and 10 years. the former is for the residents under the age of 16; the latter is for the residents of and above the age of 16.
