There is a majestic landscape in Qinhuangdao, quietly hidden among mountains and rivers, and as beautiful as a paradise, that is the Great Wall.

The Great Wall is the largest and most extensive cultural heritage and important tourism resources in Qinhuangdao. From the Stone Beacon into the Sea of the Old Dragon’s Head in Shanhaiguan in the east, to the Chengzilingkou of Qinglong County in the west, passing through Shanhaiguan District, Haigang District, Funing District, Lulong County and Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, it has a total length of 223.1 kilometers, with 905 single buildings and 62 forts and passes. The Great Wall of Ming Dynasty in Qinhuangdao is the essence of the Great Wall.

The well known Great Wall sections in Qinhuangdao include the Old Dragon’s Head Great Wall, Jiaoshan Great Wall, Dongjiakou Great Wall, Banchangyu Great Wall and so on.

The Great Walls of Qinhuangdao are mostly built on the mountains. The long wall stretches like a dragon hovering in the mountains. For hundreds of years, They guarded the world in silence and witnessed the rapid changes.
There is a section of the Great Wall in Qinhuangdao stretching into the sea, which is the famous Old Dragon’s Head Great Wall. The spectacular Stone Beacon into the Sea is like a dragon’s head extending into the sea. It has become a unique landscape when the raging waves dashing against the sturdy Great Wall.
