On July 16, Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum was opened for trial operation to the public free of charge. The cultural treasure with 2000-year history not only provides a solid foundation for the name of Qinhuangdao, the only city named after the emperor, but also presents a unique gift for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.
On July 16, tourists visited the Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum. On the same day, the Museum in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province was opened for trial operation to the public free of charge. According to reports, the Museum consists of ruins protection area, theme exhibition area, temporary exhibition area, audience interaction area, office area and supporting service area, etc.

The exhibition was strongly supported by Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum, Xi’an Museum and other units. A total of 228 exhibits were displayed, with rich categories and clear inheritance. Each exhibit is like a bright pearl in the river of history, where it converges and exudes a charming light. Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum is a public cultural facility integrating collection, protection, research, education and display, covering an area of 40 mu and main building area of 6,640 square meters. The building functions include ruins protection area, theme exhibition area, temporary exhibition area, audience interaction area, office area and supporting service area. The theme exhibition CANGHAI JIESHI QINHUANG PALACE consists of three parts of Qin Conquers the Six States and Unites China, Cross-country Tour and Jieshi Stone Monument, and Recall Qin Dynasty on the Ruins.
It is reported that Beidaihe Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins Museum is the only well-preserved Qin Dynasty Palace Ruins discovered so far in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and is another human relic in Qinhuangdao, a beautiful seaside tourist resort with rich history and culture. The opening of the museum will become a shining card of history and culture in Qinhuangdao, which is of positive practical significance to establish cultural confidence and enhance the image of the city. At the same time, its huge tourism development potential and economic value will also play an important role in promoting the development of regional economy. It is located at No. 8 Jinshanzui Road, Beidaihe District, and is open to the public free of charge from Tuesday to Sunday.
