It is happy to live in Qinhuangdao, one of the reasons is that there are many good places to watch the sunrise here. And I will give you a brief introduction on the seven best places for sunrise-viewing in Qinhuangdao.
Pigeon Nest Park
Pigeon Nest Park, also known as Yingjiao Park, is adjacent to the sea and located at the eastern end of Haibin. It is named so because there is a huge rock like an eagle with an altitude of 18 meters in the park.
It is renowned as the “one of the nine best places for sunrise-viewing in China”, and the sunrise on the sea is the most spectacular scene. Watching the sunrise at Pigeon Nest Park is a unique enjoyment. In other places, watching the sunrise on the sea is generally from a flat view, but because the Yingjiao Pavilion in the Pigeon Nest Park is tall, standing here to watch the sunrise will give you a bird view. And you may enjoy the wonderful “bathing sun” if you are lucky! The current opening hours of Pigeon Nest Park is from 4:00 to 21:00, which is just right for watching the sunrise.

It is located in the south of Shanhaiguan District of Qinhuangdao City, and is the starting point of the eastern part of the Ming Great Wall. If the Great Wall is likened to a dragon from Yanshan Mountain, then here is just the dragon’s head, standing in the waves for more than six hundred years.
At daybreak, a layer of silver-gray gauze seems to appear between the sea and sky. The majestic Stone Fort into the sea and the red sun in the sea of clouds complement each other. The mottled light and shadow flowed on the wall as if to tell the past of history. Viewing the sunrise on the edge of the Great Wall at sea, you will feel more pride than anywhere else.

It is the place where Chairman Mao once watched the sunrise. It is adjacent to the Bohai Sea on the west side of Beidaihe District. Jiguan Peak, the highest point of the hill, is 130 meters above sea level, with rocks and pine trees. From the top of the hill, you can see the villas built by the vast sea. There are many attractions, such as Wanghai Stone, the Site of Mao Zedong Viewing Sunrise, Buddha Temple, and Guanyin Temple. You can see the whole picture of Beidaihe from the top of the hill.
The most amazing thing watching the sunrise at Lianfengshan Park is that you can enjoy the sunrise at sea while you are in the mountains. Standing on the top of the hill, and watching the sun rise from the sea level and slowly above the peaks, you will feel fabulous.

The most distinctive and beautiful thing in Qianshuiwan Bay is its deep and shallow puddles. When you watch the sunrise here, you will feel that the sun is exceptionally warm and bright.
